As a Junior Transfer Agent, your primary responsibility will be to ensure the smooth processing of dealing orders and reports in a timely manner. From managing open- and closed-ended funds to handling complex matters such as Private Equity capital calls and profit distribution schemes, you'll be at the heart of our daily operations.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Transactions Management:
    • Receive and place new transactions (subscriptions, redemptions, switches, transfers) in the transfer agency system according to established procedures.
    • Meet daily deadlines consistently.
    • Process Capital Calls and Distributions efficiently.
    • Follow up on payments made and received to maintain accuracy.
  2. Process Control and Reporting:
    • Understand specific processes thoroughly and adhere strictly to relevant procedures.
    • Ensure compliance and controls within your area of responsibility.
    • Participate in projects, testing, and training initiatives as required.
    • Assist in preparing periodical reports for audits and client/investor requirements.
  3. Relationship Management:
    • Handle internal and external queries professionally and promptly.
    • Act as a point of reference or expertise for colleagues, fostering a collaborative environment.

Job requirements

To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.
  • Preferably some experience in back-office financial services.
  • Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and the ability to prioritize conflicting tasks effectively.
  • Some knowledge of Alternative Investment funds, especially private equity and debt funds (an advantage).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, with advanced English language skills (additional language proficiency like French or German is a plus).

The minimum offer for this role is 1500€ gross/month/full-time. We aim to pay our employees fairly, therefore, your salary might be higher reflecting your experience and skill set.
