Senior Corporate Secretarial Officer/ Assistant Corporate Secretarial Manager

Job description

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee company secretarial matters for a diverse portfolio of clients within Hong Kong and offshore jurisdictions like BVI and Cayman – private company;

  • Assist on giving guidance and supervising junior team members in the team to ensure service excellence and compliance with client expectations;

  • Monitor and ensure compliance with statutory filing deadlines and maintain statutory records for both Hong Kong and offshore entities;

  • Liaise and coordinate with government authorities (e.g., Companies Registry and IRD) in various jurisdictions to ensure timely and accurate filing submission;

  • Provide professional advice to clients on corporate governance, compliance and regulatory updates, ensuring timely and accurate response to client queries;

  • Draft, review and oversee the preparation of corporate documents, including resolutions, minutes, forms, letters, etc.;

  • Other ad hoc duties/project as assigned by supervisors.

Job requirements

Ideal competencies and skills:

  • Degree holder in a related field - Corporate Governance or other business-related disciplines;

  • A minimum of 3-4 years relevant experience from corporate services practice, CPA, or law firm, with a strong focus on HK and offshore company structures;

  • Experience in trust administration or trust -related corporate structures is preferrable.

  • High level of initiative, strong sense of responsibility, able to work under pressure and manage tight deadlines;

  • Good time management and organizational skills are required;

  • Good interpersonal and communication skills in English, Cantonese and Mandarin;

  • Strong attention to detail, professional integrity and client-oriented mindset.

Note: The candidate with more company secretarial and management experience might be considered to Assistant Manager role.

  • Work Setup: hybrid work setup (4 days office work; 1 day work from home)

  • Location: Bolder Corporate Services (Hong Kong) Limited Unit 2102 21/F, Golden Centre 188 Des Voeux Road Central, Hong Kong

  • Workdays: Weekday work with weekends off (Mondays to Fridays)
