Key Responsibilities

  • Assume full responsibility of portfolio of clients allocated and ensure highest quality of service and timeliness of deliverables. 

  • Ensure the accurate maintenance of statutory registers and client records; 

  • Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their needs and providing tailored solutions with the guidance of your team leader. 

  • Ensure that all client files, whether physically or electronically, are maintained appropriately in line with internal policies and procedures;

  • Maintain high-quality standards for all client deliverables. 

  • Ensure compliance with relevant laws, regulations and internal systems and policies. 

  • Have a good understanding of structuring options and services being proposed to clients.  

  • Assisting in client meeting preparations, including preparation of board packs, minutes drafting and efficient follow up of general matters arising; 

  • Assume full responsibility for bank account openings including prompt execution and submission of packs and timely response to the queries from the banks; 

  • Assist and monitor support officers to ensure timely deliverables, including payment requests and other delegated tasks; 

  • Able to delegate tasks to support officers and junior administrators and to monitor their deliverables vis-à-vis set deadlines; 

  • Able to provide basic ‘on-the-job’ training to support officers and junior administrators;  

  • Assist with transfers out of entities to other service providers; 

  • Provide full support to the compliance team in resolving compliance requests, including but not limited to, regulatory surveys or internal & external compliance audits; 

  • Ensure smooth transition from the onboarding team post incorporation; 

  • Assisting Directors and/or the management team on ad-hoc requests and projects as and when they arise; 

  • Assisting with work overflow for team members and providing absence cover; 

  • Liaison with accountants with respect to ongoing accounting and tax matters, including preparation and filing of financial statements and tax returns; 

  • Assisting the accounting team with the filing of annual returns for domestic companies; 

  • Any other ad-hoc duties that may be required from time to time. 

Job requirements

Requirements:

  • Minimum 4 to 7 years of experience in the offshore financial services industry; 

  • Hold an equivalent degree / professional qualifications like ICSA (Institute of Chartered Secretaries and Administrations) 

  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to communicate effectively with clients, colleagues at all levels; 

  • Able to work using own initiative; 

  • Flexibility, energy and enthusiasm; 

  • Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines; 

  • A solution driven attitude to problems; 

  • Good organisational skills and ability to work methodically and accurately; 

  • Team spirit.
