Job description
The Onboarding Officer is responsible for servicing the investors in a fund: collective of investors that pool money to make specific investments and benefit from the inherent advantages of working as a group. As Onboarding Officer you will have a challenging but diversified role within a team of Investor Services specialists. You will be supporting the Investor Services team with the onboarding of new investors, ensuring that all Customer Due Diligence (CDD) requirements are met before an investor can participate in a fund. Due to the diversified type of fund clients (hedge funds, real estate, fund of funds, private equity, managed accounts and cryptocurrency) and investor profiles, we are looking for someone who is hands-on and has a can-do mentality.
You will work closely with the Onboarding Team Lead and the different teams to ensure that our growing client base maintains compliance with applicable laws, regulations, supervisory requirements and AML policies and procedures. You will support identifying and assessing the compliance risks faced, as well as assisting in the management and monitoring of these risks. As Onboarding Officer you will operate in the first line of defence.
Duties & Responsibilities:
Serve as point of contact for clients during the investor onboarding process and periodical reviews.
Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, understanding their unique needs and preferences.
Communicate effectively to manage client expectations and address concerns or inquiries.
Support with the investor onboarding plan for each client, tailored to their specific policies.
Collaborate with internal teams to ensure the timely and accurate setup of new investors.
Appropriately support investors with all necessary CDD-requirements for a smooth onboarding.
Address any questions or issues that clients may have during the onboarding process.
Ensure that all necessary compliance documents are completed and signed by investors and saved in Bolder’s DMS.
Maintain accurate records of client interactions and documentation, keeping client profiles up to date.
Experience & Qualifications:
Ideally, we require 1-3 year experience in client onboarding or client services.
Vocational Education or Bachelor’s degree in Legal, Finance, or any related field.
Demonstrated problem solving, attention to detail, analytical and organizational skills.
Excellent relationship management, verbal and written communication skills required.
Experience working as part of a team to ensure all work is completed.
Familiarity with Anti-Money Laundering Regulations as well as CDD-requirements.

The minimum offer for this role is 2900 € gross/month/full-time. Your actual salary will reflect your experience, qualifications, and skill set—we believe in fair compensation that recognizes the value you bring.
