Junior Accountant

Your Role

As a Junior Accountant, you will take ownership of the day‑to‑day accounting for a portfolio of international client companies. You’ll be a trusted finance contact for clients, balancing structured accounting work with ad‑hoc requests in a dynamic, global environment. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys responsibility, client interaction, and learning by doing.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Managing end‑to‑end accounting for private and corporate clients

• Preparing monthly and quarterly reports (VAT/ICT) and annual accounts

• Handling tax filings and supporting tax‑related processes

• Reconciling bank accounts, suspense accounts, and VAT positions

• Booking incoming and outgoing invoices and processing bank and cash transactions

• Maintaining accurate financial administrations

• Supporting periodic and year‑end closings

• Preparing and drafting financial statements under the supervision of the Senior Accountant

• Communicating with clients, authorities, and internal teams — strong communication skills are essential

• Working on‑site from our Breda office as part of a collaborative, international team

What You Bring

• A Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics

• 1–2 years of relevant experience (internships count)

• Familiarity with DGAAP and IFRS (an advantage, not a must)

• Fluent in Dutch and strong English communication skills

• A proactive, hands‑on mindset with attention to detail and the ability to prioritise
