Junior Accountant

About the Role

We're looking for a motivated Junior Accountant to join our Madrid office and play a key role in our accounting operations. This is an excellent opportunity to develop your accounting expertise in an international environment while working with diverse clients and stakeholders across real estate and financial services.

What You'll Do

• Financial Reporting: Support the preparation of monthly, quarterly, and annual accounts (including consolidated reports)

• Accounting Operations: Handle end-to-end bookkeeping, including accounts payable, receivable, and general ledger management

• Tax Compliance: Assist with monthly, quarterly, and annual tax preparation and filings

• Transaction Management: Post business transactions accurately across general and subledgers, and coordinate payment processing

• Stakeholder Collaboration: Communicate with clients, banks, auditors, legal advisors, and investment managers

• Documentation: Maintain organised physical and digital files for seamless information sharing

• Relationship Building: Develop strong working relationships with colleagues and internal teams

What We're Looking For

Essential:

• Degree in Finance, Accounting, or Business Economics

• Minimum 1 year of relevant accounting experience (international experience highly valued)

• Solid understanding of Spanish GAAP and/or IFRS

• Fluent in both English and Spanish (written and spoken)

• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise under pressure

• Proactive, hands-on approach with a collaborative mindset

Nice to Have:

• Real estate accounting experience

• Familiarity with A3 accounting software
