Governance Officer - Legal / Regulatory

Job description

Bolder Group is an international provider of corporate, private, fund and governance services to a wide array of clients from its offices located around the globe. As part of our expansion in Europe, we are currently searching for a Governance Officer – Legal / Regulatory for our Governance team in the Amsterdam office. In this role, you will have the opportunity to be part of our globally based Governance team and to work on various governance related duties and projects.

 

Key responsibilities:

  • Being responsible for various day-to-day tasks of the Governance team, such as the preparation of various legal documents and the filing with different regulatory authorities worldwide;

  • Drafting standardized legal documents as part of our Governance services (letters, minutes, resolutions, agreements, etc.);

  • Assisting with or leading client onboarding and set-up processes, including assembling know your customer documents, working on bank account openings for clients, and drafting the relevant documentation;

  • Ensuring a high level of service to clients through seamless communication;

  • Providing support for AML services, regulatory reporting services and tax reporting services to clients; and

  • Being responsible for other ad hoc tasks as may be assigned from time to time. 

Job requirements

Ideal skills and competencies:

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s Dutch law degree from an internationally recognized university;

  • Preferably 2-5 years of experience within a financial or legal organisation in a similar role;

  • Proven ability to manage large volumes of data accurately and efficiently;

  • Exceptional team contributor with a proactive, enthusiastic and client-oriented approach and strong sense of punctuality; and

  • Fluency in Dutch (written and spoken) is a strict requirement, along with excellent English communication skills.
