Job description
We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Analyst to join our Data Engineering team, supporting Fund Administration, Corporate, and Governance Services. The ideal candidate will act as a bridge between business stakeholders and the technical team, gathering and translating business requirements into scalable data solutions that drive operational efficiency, compliance, and client satisfaction. Key Responsibilities:
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to gather and analyze data requirements and document business requirements for data-related projects.
Facilitate workshops, brainstorm sessions to capture both technical and non-technical requirements.
Perform data profiling and validation to ensure quality and consistency across systems and sources.
Support business users with UAT planning and execution; ensure deliverables meet business expectations.
Document metadata, data lineage, and data flow mappings to support governance and transparency.
Assisting the data team with DevOps tickets and managing the entire cycle.
Assist the Team Leader in ensuring seamless data project handovers to service delivery.
Job requirements
Qualifications & Skills:
Excellent English communication (spoken and written).
Bachelor's degree in business information systems, Finance, Data Analytics, or a related field.
2+ years of experience as a Business Analyst in a data or technology team, preferably within fund administration, financial services, or corporate governance environments.
Proficient in writing SQL for data analysis and validation purposes.
Experience in data warehousing, ETL/ELT design, and operational reporting.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and tools such as Jira or Azure DevOps.
Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate across business and technical teams.
Familiarity with Agile project delivery and tooling (Azure DevOps for example).
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience working on data transformation or migration projects.
Experience with Power BI or other reporting tools.
Knowledge of regulatory reporting standards (e.g., FATCA, CRS, AIFMD).
Exposure to data governance practices and metadata management.
Understanding of data privacy and governance frameworks (e.g., GDPR, BCBS 239).
Understanding of fund administration, NAV calculations, and related processes.

The minimum offer for this role is 2200€ gross/month/full-time. We aim to pay our employees fairly, therefore, your salary might be higher, reflecting your experience and skill set.
