Compliance Lead

About the Role

Bolder Group’s Center of Excellence (CoE) is looking for a Compliance Lead. This is a great opportunity for professionals with a general first-line Compliance, AML & KYC background. The position Compliance Lead is a compliance role with a focus on coordinating Compliance, Risk Assessment, AML & KYC work within the CoE and across Bolder’s international stakeholders.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Review, assign, and allocate work and provide guidance to Compliance Analysts in the CoE, balancing multiple stakeholders while managing the CoE team’s capacity.

• Partner with stakeholders and the CoE Head of Operations in reviewing capacity and planning for expansion (hiring permanent or temporary staff).

• Partner with the CoE Head of Service and Quality or its equivalent in streamlining best practices and processes for various Compliance, AML, and KYC functions.

• Review the Compliance/AML & KYC outputs as required to ensure quality and alignment with regulatory requirements.

• Act as the main point of contact in the CoE for other Bolder offices that have Compliance/KYC & AML work performed in the Philippines.

• Create and present performance and task-driven reports to management and stakeholders.

• Assist the team as needed in various Compliance, AML & KYC functions:

  • Conducting risk assessments.

  • Sanctions and adverse media screening.

  • Conducting AML/CFT client KYC.

  • Saving documents and updating the CRM data.

  • Identifying and flagging compliance issues during the client’s life cycle (client acceptance due diligence, transaction monitoring, periodic reviews, and exits).

• Provide guidance, training, and ongoing support to strengthen the Compliance, AML, and KYC team’s understanding of risks and regulations (across multiple jurisdictions).

• Perform any additional tasks and duties associated with the position.

Ideal Experiences and Competencies

• Degree in Accounting, Finance, Law, or a related area.

• Experience in the financial services industry with advanced knowledge of multi-jurisdictional regulations and laws.

• 3+ years of relevant working experience in a similar capacity.

• Excellent communication skills, particularly in engaging with staff and regulators.

• Strong command of English, both written and verbal.
