Purpose of Role

We are currently seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Cloud Security Analyst with expertise in Microsoft Security tooling and Zscaler to join our Global Technology team. This position will play a crucial role in safeguarding our financial data and systems. The successful candidate will have a deep understanding of the cybersecurity landscape, Microsoft Security technologies, Zscaler, and the specific security challenges faced by the financial sector.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Implement, manage, and monitor Microsoft Security technologies such as Microsoft Defender, Azure Security, and Office 365 Security.
  • Administer Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access solutions to ensure secure internet access and private application connectivity.
  • Develop, implement, and enforce security policies, procedures, and standards based on industry best practices and regulatory requirements specific to financial services.
  • Collaborate closely with the compliance team to ensure that all information owned, collected, or controlled by or on behalf of the company is processed and stored in accordance with applicable laws and other global regulatory requirements (such as GDPR, SOX, and PCI-DSS).
  • Provide incident response capabilities to isolate and mitigate threats in a timely manner.
  • Conduct regular security audits and assessments to ensure the effectiveness of security controls.
  • Coordinate with other IT teams to ensure the secure design, development, and deployment of applications.
  • Participate in change management processes, providing security review and approval of proposed changes to the IT environment.
  • Cloud security engineer is expected to be available should an outage our cybersecurity incident occurs during weekends/off hours. This is to ensure faster resolution of the outage or cybersecurity incident.

Job requirements

Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Information Technology, or related field.
    • A Master's degree or relevant industry certifications (CISSP, CCSP) will be preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years' experience in IT security, with a focus on Microsoft Security tooling and Zscaler.
    • Experience in the Financial Services industry is a plus.
  • Strong understanding of the regulatory environment in the financial sector, including GDPR, SOX, PCI-DSS, etc.
  • Knowledge of cybersecurity risks and threat landscape as they apply to financial institutions.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex security systems and communicate risks and mitigations.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate security issues to a diverse audience.

Base Requirement:

  • You must have a minimum of 2 years' experience working in a similar role
