Purpose of Role

A Security Analyst uses security knowledge and technical skills to identify and implement new security solutions while monitoring the current security posture of Bolder Group. Using our security applications, the security analyst will examine our open security incidents. The Security analyst will also examine incoming data and logfiles to find new trend and vulnerabilities in our IT environment. In collaboration with the rest of the Technology department the business Analyst will help implement new Security solutions.


Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Provide support to multiple offices across different jurisdictions covering all relevant Security questions and incidents.
  • Manage and expand the MS defender implementation of Bolder Group.
  • Guide the organization in the patching process and give guidance on how to implement certain patches.
  • To provide support to the Senior Information Security Officer to ensure that the business has optimal support in Security & Compliance topics.
  • Involvement in projects of implementing new security tooling.
  • Analyzing data to solve security issue’s or to provide new security insights.
  • Support the Technology team in understanding Security findings and how to implement a fix for them.
  • Working with our cloud engineering team to implement new security solutions in an Azure based IT environment.

Job requirements

Required Advanced Technical Proficiencies:

  • Knowledge of MS Azure and related services.
  • Proficient in managing MS Defender
  • MS500 and/or AZ-500 would be of benefit.

Base Requirement:

  • You must have a minimum of 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
  • Analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Effective communicator – Ability to communicate with non-IT staff at all levels.
  • Attention to details.
  • Ability to work as part of a team.
